If we both feel it's a good fit to proceed, I offer a free 50-minute first session. This session is all about getting to know each other and starting to build our therapeutic relationship. It's a chance for you to experience how I work and for us both to see if we'll work well together.
Remember, this session is an opportunity, not an obligation. You're not trapped or committed to continuing if you don't feel it's right for you. It's simply a chance for us to meet, for you to ask any questions, and for you to get a feel for my approach.

It's highly accessible, eliminating travel time and costs. This format offers flexibility, making it easier to fit sessions into busy schedules. Some people find it easier to open up when in their own environment, enhancing the comfort of the therapeutic process. Online sessions also ensure continuity - we can maintain our work together even if you're traveling or unable to meet in person. Rest assured, I use secure, confidential platforms for our online sessions to ensure your privacy is protected.
While I'm not a general couples counsellor, I do offer specialised support for couples where one partner is experiencing depression. This focus comes from my specialized training at the Tavistock Institute.
